The Weekend

The full schedual and line-up for the 2010 edition of All tomorrow's parties in Monticello NY has been revealde and ohhhhh man !! This more then speaks for itself...

Black Budget

Hiya! I just found out about these guy's because they now have an ex member of the amazing Jumbo's Killcrane on drums. Plus they are a 2 piece and I love me some 2 pieces!.They are a farely new band and come from Portland by way of Vancouver and Ireland ..if that makes sense!
Black Budget mixes spastic, low and heavy rythm's and with what seems to be a strong anti-establishment ideology that makes for a very interresting listen.Oh and the vocals remind me a bit of the singer from Big Business.. just a little more pissed off. There website says they were in the process of recording but no news on any official release yet.

From Russia...

I could'nt find much information about this band. They are from Russia and go by Lord of Doubts. They got the sound down right imo and sound like a mix between Electric Wizard and a slowed down High on Fire! (for the intensity in the riffs)!.All in all they sound awesome and are worth checking out right here: http://www.myspace.com/lordofdoubts

Totem One

Master Musicians of Bukkake are more than a one off project with members of Earth, Burning Witch and Diminished Men.Basicaly , they kick ass! There is soooo much goin on here you have to listen for yourselves!Hers a little bio from there record label.

Featuring a special guest appearence by Sun City Girls frontman Alan Bishop,
Master Musicians Of Bukkake’s newest record and part of a Northwest trilogy, Marks an evolution from their first record 'Visible Sign Of the Invisible order (Abduction records 2005).Totem one echos with the delusions of a West Coast Death cult. Outer spaced Gamelan, dusty fuzz rock from celestial deserts, meditations of a deranged Krishna gathering, and the Blurry acoustic guitar majesty of The Cascade mountains all reveal themselves here in epic form On Totem One. Every sound and note played put to tape by a group with a singular purging purpose.
